Outcome
I successfully transformed the client’s digital label artwork into a captivating label ready for wine bottle production. Our collaboration with the client and our die-cutting and foil-printing expertise made their vision a reality and move forward with the next stage of their business.
The Process
My role as a print production designer ultimately is ensuring the final output meets client expectations.
First, I utilized Photoshop and Illustrator to ensure the artwork is print production ready, going over every pixel and detail including making sure the colors were correct and correcting any spelling errors or misalignment of graphics.
Then I worked with machine operators to check the quality of prints before full production. We carefully checked colors, clarity, and the paper used, while keeping the design team and clients updated.
Afterward, I created a printed sample for the QA team to review. The QA team acted as our final line of defense against any errors or quality issues, guaranteeing that our clients received the best possible product.
Finally, I produced a mock-up of the label for the customer to view and provide final approval.
